Orchkids
I am currently a teacher in the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's youth outreach program, OrchKids. This program is indended to provide before, during, and after school band and orchestra programs for K-12 students in Baltimore Public Schools.
My job within the organization is to provide individual, pull-out, and group lessons to participating students in Baltimore Public Schools and help enrich their lives with mentorship and music. As a horn instructor at Margaret Brent Elementary and the new OrchKids Private Lesson Academy, I teach 5th and 6th grade horn students in both concert band and private lesson settings. I strive to meet my students where they are and help them with both musical and personal growth. It is truly humbling to be a part of this great organization!
